A handbill for Detsky Mir's San Jose appearance at the Cactus Club, dated Friday, December 8, 1989 at 9:00 p.m.
The flyer places the band at 417 South First Street and pairs the name with a dense photocopied illustration of musicians, dancers and stage equipment.
Unlike the demo tape, this paper record documents the public-facing moment: a local show, an address, a door policy and a band name still in circulation before the archive went dormant.
This was Detsky Mir's first live performance and included additional players John Messier (drums), Nick Ivanitsky (guitar) and Vince (saxophone). It was an opening spot for headliners The Brownies.
