An 80s synthpop project whose entire catalogue was composed between 1988 and 1990, lost for over twenty-five years, and recovered from decaying Macintosh 3.5 inch floppy disks, MOTU Digital Performer sequences, and an Ensoniq EPS sampler.

Between the autumn of 1988 and the spring of 1990, the band Detsky Mir wrote and sequenced a complete body of work, yet less than 100 demo tapes ever reached the public. The sequences lived on 3.5-inch floppy disks, playable only on the legacy hardware that made them.

The disks went into a cardboard shoebox. The shoebox outlasted the Soviet Union and survived to a new century.

In 2015 the box was opened. In 2026 the archive is declassified: every recovered sequence, every artifact, every scrap of documentation, presented as it was found.
